Towards One

Connecting care of the body to the heart and mind

Picture
My work has always been largely inspired by travel and the land. I started by collecting stones on hikes and wrapping them in waxed linen to wear close to my heart and keep these special places a part of me.

My husband and I have traveled around the world with his music and volunteering for over a decade, now with our 3 year old! More nights than not we slept in a tent. Often we bathed in wild waters, we cooked in fires and ate on the ground. Living so closely to nature I have realized the profound gifts and healing we receive when we align ourselves to the natural rhythms around us.

I have gathered flowers and herbs from different places as I travel and make pure body products and natural perfumes along with jewelry from mostly wood and stones.

When my daughter was born and we slowed down a bit I began studying herbal medicine more seriously and started creating products for both her and I and I have found such a passion in this.

I connect my heart, story and positivity into everything I make and invite you to speak these truths and love into yourself as you put on the body products and jewelry I make.

I also can no longer do this on my own. My business partner Alex Brown in South Africa keeps all our body products going there, I have an incredible team help me with events and Violet in South Africa who helps me bead.

I want to plant a forest for my daughter

Each piece plants 1 tree

We have a small non-profit that works with over 100 kids in Kenya

My husband and I started a non-profit called Journey4youth and have worked with a small village in Kenya now since 2010; providing education to over 100 kids a year, rain water harvesting, small kitchen gardens and trainings.

We both volunteered post Katrina in New Orleans, in an orphanage in Cambodia, with Syrian refugees in Turkey and Greece. We have stood with many tribes at standing rock and we plan to continue volunteering as much as possible.

Our small businesses are what makes our volunteer work possible so thank you for your support.
